It is always interesting to see the creative and powerful ways that people find to combine their passion with helping others. War Horses for Veterans, our March USA Cares recipient, does that by bringing horses and combat veterans together.

With Veteran’s day in November, we felt it appropriate to choose a Veteran-focused organization for November’s USA Cares. Veterans Community Project is a shining example of what can be achieved when people with a focus join with their community. VCP was founded in 2015 by a group of Combat Veterans. Their mission is clear “…supporting every man and woman who took the oath for our country. We are determined to make a difference in the lives of homeless Veterans, a task accomplished by the community for the community.”

Earlier this year we decided to start sharing the organizations that we choose for our USA Cares program each month. Our hope in doing this was to shine a small spotlight on some wonderful charities and non-profits that matter to us, and hopefully help others find a group that they might be willing to give their time or resources to.

As a company, we believe strongly in the saying, "if you can, do." For a while, we have had an internal program we call USA Cares. Each month, based on employee suggestions, we choose a charity or non-profit organization to spotlight. Along with this, we also make a monetary donation. We are proud of the time and resources our fantastic staff members give to these groups and have decided to start sharing our USA Cares program more publicly. We hope that through our sharing of these organizations, in a way you will get to know us better. Or maybe you will find a charity or non-profit that speaks to you as so many of our staff have.
